Sitting atop the acclaimed EX line, the EX2000 builds upon the achievements of its predecessors by pairing its violin-grade spruce enclosure with a solid nude diamond cantilever and high-purity 6N copper generator. A custom ultra-fine powder coating preserves the natural acoustic resonance of the tonewood while protecting against environmental decay.

Violin-Grade Acoustic Craftsmanship
While traditional high-end cartridge design often attempts to eliminate all mechanical vibration through extreme mass and synthetic damping, Analog Relax approaches cartridge design from the perspective of an acoustic instrument builder. The EX2000 body is crafted from Northern Italian spruce harvested from the South Tyrol region, the identical timber selected by classical luthiers for violin top plates.
Finished with an ultra-fine protective powder coating, the wood body is voice-tuned to allow subtle, natural harmonic resonances to bloom. This acoustic tuning yields an organic, lifelike timbre that synthetic resin, aluminum, or stone enclosures struggle to replicate.

Advanced Diamond Generator Topology
Behind the organic tonewood housing sits a state-of-the-art moving coil engine. Analog Relax equips the EX2000 with a custom solid diamond cantilever, eliminating the signal smearing and energy storage typical of softer metallic or boron designs.
Combined with high-purity 6N copper coils and a low 8-ohm internal impedance, the cartridge extracts minute micro-dynamic cues and delicate spatial information straight from the groove without ever tilting into bright or aggressive tonality.
