Inside this natural wooden shell, high-purity copper generator coils work in tandem with a robust multi-neodymium magnet structure.

The body of the EX300 is sculpted from solid blocks of high-grade walnut timber, a material historically chosen by master luthiers for acoustic guitar construction. Rather than suppressing mechanical energy using heavy synthetic dampening, Analog Relax leverages walnut's natural cellular structure to absorb harsh unwanted resonance while enhancing lower-midrange body.
Each wooden housing is carved and hand-finished by master artisans in Japan using natural beeswax, guaranteeing that no two cartridges share the exact same grain figure or visual patina.

Innovative IF Adhesive Technology
To maximize energy transfer between the record groove and generator, the EX300 introduces Analog Relax's IF (Inter-Fine) adhesive bonding system. By blending microscopic diamond dust directly into the bonding agent that secures the solid diamond elliptical stylus into the aluminum cantilever, mechanical flex at the joint is virtually eliminated.
This rigid coupling dramatically improves resolution, presence, and micro-dynamic snap without introducing harsh high-frequency ringing.
