The definitive single-ended triode monoblock for absolute musical truth.

The original Exsequor served as the cornerstone of our electronics development for nearly a decade, and the MKII continues this tradition as our most uncompromising expression of single-ended triode amplification. By rejecting the common industry practice of using small-signal driver tubes, we have built an amplifier within an amplifier to ensure the output stage is driven with absolute authority and zero dynamic compression. The core of the Exsequor is the 813 thoriated tungsten filament tube, which we consider the finest large-format power tube ever produced. It is driven by an 814 directly heated tube, functioning as a complete 14-watt SET amplifier in its own right. This signal is coupled through a bespoke amorphous double-c core bifilar-wound inter-stage transformer, maintaining phase integrity and wide bandwidth across the entire spectrum. The power supply architecture is equally formidable, utilising dual tube rectification and triple-choke filtering with custom low-DCR chokes. Each channel is supported by proprietary SuperFilmCapacitors, providing massive instantaneous energy reserves. Because the directly heated filaments are integral to the signal path, they are triple-filtered and inductively isolated from the power supply, resulting in a vanishingly low noise floor that allows music to emerge from total silence.

With 3,000 joules of energy storage provided by SuperFilmCapacitors, the amplifier delivers effortless current even under the most demanding musical loads.
