KUZMA · 4Point

4Point 14 inch

Fourteen inches of reference-grade geometry for the ultimate vinyl resolution.

The 4Point 14 represents the pinnacle of the 4Point series, scaling the unique four-point bearing system to a 14-inch effective length. By increasing the arm length to 353 mm, Kuzma has significantly reduced lateral tracking error, allowing the stylus to trace the record groove with exceptional geometric accuracy and minimal distortion. This tonearm is engineered for the uncompromising enthusiast, utilising high-precision sapphire and ruby bearing cups to ensure near-zero friction and absolute stability in all planes of movement. It retains the signature 4Point versatility, including a rigid VTA tower for real-time height adjustment and a sophisticated worm-drive mechanism for precise azimuth tuning. Sonically, the 4Point 14 is defined by its scale, authority, and holographic presentation. The extended geometry and massive, inert structure create a stable foundation that allows the cartridge to retrieve micro-level details with startling clarity, resulting in a sound that feels both physically present and emotionally resonant.

Key Features

01

Four-point bearing system

Independent horizontal and vertical bearing paths, now utilising sapphire and ruby cups, provide near-zero friction and zero play.

02

14-inch geometry

The extended length dramatically reduces tracking error, offering a cleaner and more natural sound across the entire record surface.

03

Precision VTA tower

Allows for real-time vertical tracking angle adjustment with 0.01 mm accuracy, maintaining total rigidity during use.

04

Detachable headshell

A unique hexagonal locking system allows for convenient cartridge swapping without compromising the rigidity of the arm-headshell interface.

05

Dual-damping troughs

Independent vertical and horizontal oil damping troughs allow for fine-tuning of resonance control.

Chapter 01

Engineering Philosophy

The 4Point 14 is designed on the principle that geometry is the primary barrier to perfect analogue playback. By extending the effective length to 14 inches, the arm minimizes the angular error of the stylus, ensuring that the cantilever remains in the most favourable position throughout the play of an LP.

Chapter 02

Build and Materials

Constructed from solid aluminium and brass, the tonearm is built for maximum mass and structural damping. The internal wiring consists of a single, continuous run of silver alloy, ensuring the purest possible signal path from the cartridge pins to the phono output connectors.

Chapter 03

Listening Notes

The presentation is notable for its immense scale and composure. Listeners will find that complex orchestral climaxes are rendered with unprecedented stability and separation, while the noise floor is kept exceptionally low, revealing fine spatial cues that define a truly reference-grade experience.
