Stabi M
A monumental expression of mechanical precision and classic high-end engineering.
Designed with an unmistakable air of studio-grade reliability, the Stabi M serves as a statement piece in any reference system. Its construction is defined by immense mass, utilising solid aluminium blocks and plates to create a rigid, self-damping structure that effectively dissipates energy before it can interfere with the delicate signals being extracted from the vinyl groove.
At the heart of the Stabi M is a uniquely sophisticated drive system that combines the high-torque benefits of an idler drive with the sonic purity of a belt-drive. A powerful three-phase DC motor, encapsulated within a massive brass housing, drives the 12 kg platter to full speed in just two seconds. This combination of force and control provides unparalleled speed stability, resulting in an explosive, dynamic presentation that remains composed under the most demanding musical passages.
The suspension system is equally thoughtful, featuring an elastically underhung main frame isolated from the outer structure via large elastic dampers. This allows for fine-tuned horizontal levelling of the platter and tonearm assembly while providing robust isolation from environmental feedback. Accommodating tonearms up to 12 inches in length under a massive, vibration-resistant acrylic lid, the Stabi M offers both the versatility and the sonic authority expected of a definitive flagship turntable.
Key Features
01
Inert platter assembly
Constructed from two 30mm thick aluminium plates with an acrylic damping layer to provide an exceptionally neutral support for records.
02
High-torque motor system
A powerful DC motor housed in a suspended brass cup transmits immense torque via a stiff plastic belt, combining idler-like speed with belt-drive purity.
03
Sophisticated suspension
The main frame is elastically isolated from the outer chassis, allowing for fine-tuned levelling and superb feedback rejection.
04
Studio-grade dust cover
A massive acrylic lid mounted on spring-loaded hinges is specially engineered to resist vibrations, allowing playback at high volumes without interference.

Chapter 01
Engineering Philosophy
The Stabi M is built on the principle that extreme mass, when intelligently applied through multi-element construction, becomes self-damping. By bolting together various solid aluminium blocks and plates, Kuzma has created a dispersive structure that eliminates the ringing typically associated with large metal surfaces. This creates a foundation that is physically and sonically impervious, ensuring that the only energy present during playback is that which is intended by the recording.

Chapter 02
Operational Precision
Control and convenience are integral to the Stabi M experience. The external power supply provides fine frequency control for exact pitch, while the front-panel interface—which mirrors the remote control functionality—allows for effortless speed selection and start/stop operation. This level of refinement ensures that the turntable is not only a precision instrument but also a pleasure to use in daily operation.

Chapter 03
Sonic Character
Listeners often describe the Stabi M as having a 'blacker' background, characterized by silence that allows low-level detail to emerge with startling clarity. Its presentation is punchy, articulate, and rhythmically secure, with a sense of explosive dynamic range that brings recorded performances to life with a lifelike, three-dimensional presence.
