At the heart of the Incito is a zero-feedback power gain stage that functions as a miniature single-ended triode amplifier. Instead of relying on complex multi-stage circuits, Aries Cerat employed a transformer-coupled super-triode architecture using the ultra-high transconductance E280F tube. This minimalist philosophy enables massive voltage swings that are stepped down to provide immense current delivery, keeping transistor-like noise figures whilst preserving the vital energy of the source. Positioned as the brand's foundational preamplifier, the Incito makes no compromises in its construction. The power supply is built around a 5AR4 rectifier, featuring separate double-pi filtering for each channel using oversized chokes and high-speed capacitors. Volume control is flawlessly executed via a high-quality discrete relay-latched resistor attenuator, accompanied by supreme quality signal relays for transparent input switching. Sonically, the Incito resolves the traditional divide between valve and solid-state amplification. It presents the dense, three-dimensional textures and liquid flow expected from elite tube designs, yet controls the lower frequencies with startling grip and articulation. The top end is immensely resolving but never fatiguing, offering a beautifully organised soundstage that brings natural rhythm and profound emotional involvement to any recording.
